Join the waitlistThis is the watch that Francois Paul Journe launched his eponymous brand with — the Tourbillon Souverain. The platinum cased, yellow dial version was the original combination and is still the most sought after by collectors. This is a fairly early piece from 2001. It has the much more desirable “silvery” subdial with sharper guilloche, vs the later, duller white subdial. In the video review, I do my best to explain the remontoir mechanism as well as Journe’s “backwards” power reserve and some of the other cool features of this watch. Please note that the watch in the video is not this exact watch, but very similar.
