This is the watch that Francois Paul Journe launched his eponymous brand with — the Tourbillon Souverain. The platinum cased, yellow dial version was the original combination and is still the most sought after by collectors. This is a fairly early piece from 2001. It has the much more desirable “silvery” subdial with sharper guilloche, vs the later, duller white subdial. In the video review, I do my best to explain the remontoir mechanism as well as Journe’s “backwards” power reserve and some of the other cool features of this watch.
