De Bethune is ON FIRE right now, and it’s easy to see why. Their watches provide tremendous value at all price points for those who care about innovation, finishing, materials, etc. The DB22 is one of their entry level watches, designed for sport wear. Yet you still get everything of value in a brand: innovative design, new materials use, an in-house and unique movement (many brands make an “in-house” movement that is basically just them copying something else). The dial and hands are like nothing else I’ve ever seen. The case shape references some of the great Genta designs without at all coming off as a copy — this is no Big Bang!

This version is in White Gold which suits the watch quite well. The case is thin and lugs are short so do not let the size fool you, it fits on the wrists of mortals.
