When I was a kid I loved cars, watches, sports and business. I was the rare child who always knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
My time in finance afforded me some amazing opportunities though. I was able to drive the cars I dreamt of as a boy and own some watches which I only hoped would exist some day. I never intended to work in the watch industry, but when an opportunity came along to help grow one of the most amazing creative companies in the industry, I could not pass it up.

In mid 2008, I created MB&F North America to help Maximilian Busser grow his “Horological Concept Lab” in this territory. It is a unique position in a unique company and because of my past, I approach it from a very unique perspective.

With this blog, I hope to share my experiences as a watch collector, an enthusiast, and an unlikely insider in a very interesting industry.
