Vantablack Black Hands XL
Watchmakers like to think of themselves often as artists. But watches are not art. Every now and then a company finds a way to truly create a piece of art using the watch as a medium, and this is such a case in my opinion. The subject here is not the watch, but light itself. Vantablack is a nanotube material that reflects almost no light. As they said in Spinal Tap: none more black. Using the material as a dial is already interesting as it creates a unique effect. However, Moser makes this actual art by using black hands. These are normal black and polished. The effect is that the hands reflect light while the dial does not — making them almost look like bright steel hands as long as there is any light shining on them. The eye sees in relative brightnesses. The result is an incredibly cool watch: a beautiful object and a look into light and perception itself.
The case is 43mm stainless steel. Offered complete with box and papers. There is a small scratch on the crystal. Otherwise in excellent condition. Will come on its original strap
