A limited edition of only 11 pieces, the Historique was the final version of the Double Tourbillon — GF’s first invention. In many ways it is a bridge from the old pieces to the new. Their first movement, but with case and dial design similar to what they would use on many pieces later. This makes it one of the most wearable Greubel Forseys, while also being one of the most complicated. All of this combined to make this one the winner of the prestigious L’Aguille D’Or prize at the 2010 Grand Prix of Horology.
